Oauth2 Account Authorization

Is there any way for my application to gain access to Roku accounts via something like Oauth2? I'm trying to develop a remote-remote (Control Roku from outside the LAN) and the device would not be on the same network as the Roku device, so the ECP is of no help. Does Roku have account authorizations setup? Can I link external apps to my account and then control devices on my account from those external apps?
