What universal remote will work on the Roku model 4630x? I have a Phillips universal remote and wonder if that might just work on this model Roku? Any ideas thanks.

That remote does not have a roku code sorry. There are alot newer philips remotes from target that do have roku codfes.

With 4630 responding to IR commands, if the universal remote has roku code it would work. Without a working code in it, it won't.

You didn't mention the universal model number, roku codes are not universal across universal remotes. Even between different models of the same brand of universal remote the roku code could be different. You hafe the remote and its model number, google it yourself.

No, it doesn't help at all, we don't the info from the roku itself, you asked to control it from aftermarket philips universal remote, thats the model we need?

the philips universal remote book calls it a sru2103s/27 if that helps thanks
