My roku remote was able to pair with my Samsung tv and control the volume for a couple of years. My dog ate the remote and I purchased a replacement roku voice remote.  When the new remote is paired it goes through all pairing options for my Samsung and can’t find it. Why did my old remote work to control the volume find but the new one won’t control the volume?  The replacement remote is the same as the old remote and the box says this is compatible.

I can honestly tell you that dogs really do enjoy our Roku remotes!

Perhaps @Tivoburkee can provide further insight on a code for your Samsung TV to pair your remote as he's our current resident remote expert in the Community.
