So we have 3 Vizio TV’s and a Sony with 4 Roku Streaming Stick 4K’s. All 4 of the sticks work on two of the Vizios and the Sony. None of the 4 work on one of the Vizios.
I’ve done all the troubleshooting of powering down and up, reset everything 20 times, change refresh rate, resolution, display detect etc. The second I open any app I instantly get the HDCP error.
What is a possible solution here?
Am assuming the suspect Vizio is a different model number than the other two?
Have you tried using a different HDMI port on this Vizio. Additionally, try disabling the Roku device's power saving feature which is reportedly causing some HDCP errors.
(Settings/System/Power/Auto Power Savings/disable 20 min feature)
Something is producing an error between the HDCP query and response. (need to look at involved chain of HDMI cable and port, the TV HDCP version and compatibility, and the Roku device).
