Today I noticed the quick launch button no longer launches the quick launch menu.  Instead, it is automatically opening the Apple TV+ app - which it wasn't configured for as there is already an Apple TV+ button on the remote.  I've attempted resetting the remote but that has not worked.  Any advice would be appreciated as the quick launch button is a convenient way to connect wireless headphones.

How to change a Quick Launch shortcut

The first two shortcuts are pre-assigned and can be changed at any time with the following steps.

1. Press the Quick Launch   button to open the shortcut overlay
2. Select the first or second shortcut and then press and hold the Quick Launch   button for 5 seconds
3. The on-screen menu will display several shortcut options for you to choose from
4. Select a shortcut option and press OK   to assign it
5. If prompted, follow the on-screen steps to set up your shortcut
6. Your Quick Launch shortcut is now assigned and ready to use

Thank you but the issue is that the shortcut overlay no longer displays - the launch button automatically launches the Apple TV+ app (and it was never programmed for that app).

In case the problem is not with the remote but instead is with the Roku's RESPONSE to the remote, perhaps a restart of the Roku will fix it.

Restart via Settings > System > Power > System restart

I’ve completed a factory reset in the TV and the remote buttons are still not working correctly. On top of the quick launch button not functioning correctly, the mute button is now launching “Live TV” rather than muting.

Seeing as I could not find a solution, I purchased a new voice pro remote 2nd edition and it works as expected.  The original remote that was shipped with the TV still has odd button programming and cannot seem to be re-set to the original function mapping.
