Have had a problem with my remote.

when changing volume up it also changes input setting 

going up a second time takes me back to HDMI 2, which is where my Roku is plugged in

volume down changes aspect ratio

bought new Roku and remote and the problem continues with new equipment 

please help 

going to use Xumo if I can’t fix it

When programming the Roku remote for your tv skip the first positive result, since it seems to be the wrong one, by pressing YES. See if subsequent codes work better?

When setting up the remote they should just give you all the codes on the screen so you can select them easily one after the other. Instead of the stupid Yes or No to the music playing questions. It would make it a lot easier to try other codes when the first one doesn't function properly.

And how are we to enter such codes without a numerical pad?

I didn't mean typing the codes in with your remote with numerals. I meant the screen giving you the codes to select from. Like "Code 1" then "Code 2" under that in a list, so you can scroll up and down and select them to try.
