Issue with pairing Voice Remote Pro

I have a Hisense TV, bought the Voice Remote Pro. When I attempt to pair the pairing screen comes up saying it is pairing but just sits there and never finishes. This TV has been reset with the button on the back of the TV.

Have you made sure to unpair the original remote from the device? This is a common mistake that can mislead to a lot of confusion about which remote is having an issue. Lastly, what are the exact steps to reproduce the issue?
