Update, I found an answer on a Reddit thread that worked for me. On the Roku, go to Settings>System>Advanced>Control by mobile apps. Change this to Enabled. Fixed problem immediately for me.

I tried going through the add remote functionality but that didn't work. However, there is a setting buried in the advanced system settings menu for 'CONTROL BY MOBILE APPS - NETWORK ACCESS.' Once I set this to enabled, my SofaBaton remote started working again.
SETTINGS - SYSTEM - ADVANCED SYSTEM SETTINGS - CONTROL BY MOBILE APPS - NETWORK ACCESS - ENABLED (choose ENABLED instead of LIMITED).

I’m having the same issue with my SofaBaton remote after the update early this morning. I’ve tried a number of things to reset it but it still not working at all. I haven’t had any issues with my SofaBaton remote until today. I’m using the streaming stick 4k.

I had the same issue, this post on reddit worked (posed by praetorian55).
Instructions:
change the following setting:
System>advanced system settings>control by mobile apps>network access>enabled
It was set to "limited" and changing it to "enabled" allowed the harmony hub remote to immediately control the Roku.
