Roku remotes DO NOT have reset button!! The button in the battery compartment is pairing button to link it to a given Roku, it resets nothing!!

Now that makes perfect sense. How do I get my remote to work with new batteries?

My Roku express 4K and remote won’t work and I tried changing the batteries to brand new ones. I also tried repairing, it still doesn’t work. Can anyone help?

Note that some Roku remotes have the batteries both facing the same direction, while others have the batteries opposite each other. Look closely at the remote with the batteries removed, and ensure you've placed them in the proper orientation. I know it sounds basic, but more than once I've put them in wrong because a different remote has them "this way".

Yes, I checked this and made sure I put them the correct way. It’s still not working at all. I even tried the opposite way and it doesn’t work
