Entire ROKU service appears to be down?

According to several comments left at the above web page from all over the U.S. ROKU appears to be totally down nationwide. What gives?

Yep. Long outage though. Wish I’d known before resetting for nothing. 😳

Well, that explains my sudden loss of responsiveness of the navigation screen to the remote control, followed by a roku reboot and then nothing but purple screen regardless of what I did.  It had resolved by the time I got back from searching this forum for possible explanations and after I posted that the server appeared to be back up.  Fortunately it was back up BEFORE I got to try out a factory reset as described in other posts on this forum.  :-)
