@KatinVT, did you try YouTube anyway?
Mine also did the update immediately, 14.0.04. But it worked for me anyway.
It may not necessarily be the OS version itself, so much as possibly the update made some of our devices stuck, for want of a better phrase. I think that the reset released whatever was stuck, because I have the same version of both the Roku OS and the YouTube app now as before the factory reset.
Or it could be that this isn't the fix for your device, but I sure hope it will be.
It's the last thing I wanted to do but I'll give it a chance considering your results.
Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
The reset worked. YouTube now works properly but what a pain in the **bleep** to reconnect the remotes, the speakers and sign in on all the apps. On the plus side the system seems to be more responsive to the remotes.
Well, the reset worked... for one evening! Now it's back to nothing works. When will this be fixed?
Oh jeez, I'm sorry, @KatinVT!
There was an OS update a couple of days ago. (14.1.4) Is your Roku Streambar working now?
Believe it or not -- I updated that immediately -- and tried. No go! I'm flummoxed. How about you? Any luck?
I have a Roku Express and every time I go to the YouTube app, I go to navigate to the search bar and it immediately goes black. I tried removing the app and downloading it again but now when I download the app and hit open app, it immediately goes black.
I've not had any problems ever since I reset the soundbar pro. I've done the most recent OS upgrade (?) and everything is still copacetic.
