That does not work on any of my 4 rokus
Here we are week 2
Been having this issue for a few weeks now. Very disappointing and frustrating, I shouldn't have to go out and buy another brands device to use a paid service that Roku clearly "supports". I feel like Roku is going to fall into some legal trouble with the NFL if this doesn't resolve soon. Really bad timing on their part for the app to not be working properly, especially now that the playoff 's are going on.
I have 3 devices in my home, it doesn't work properly on any of them. I've tried to restart the devices, everything is up to date, uninstalled NFL and restarted. Even factory reset, which is a total pain in the A** when I have to re-login to most of the apps.
So what recourse do we have if this doesn't get fixed?
Full game replay not working. Shuts off after few minutes. I even tried waiting until day after. Wake up in the morning and ready to watch. The problem is on Rokus end. I can airplay from my tablet to tv just fine.
I'm having the same exact problem. Its worked fine all season now I try to replay the divisional rounds and it crashes to the home screen after a few minutes of playback. Restarts did nothing. Network speed is excellent.
3941X - Roku Express 4k+
Software version 14.1
I then launched NFL + on my Xbox and it played flawlessly so its definitely a Roku issue. Get it fixed Roku or I'm putting Firesticks back on all my TVs
Same for me, so frustrating!!!!
After removing the channel, but BEFORE reinstalling it, did you RESTART** your Roku to clear its memory cache? Without the restart you may not get a clean reinstall. This is not a cure-all but at least it will assure you of having an uncorrupted copy of the current channel app.
Depending on your Roku model number you'll find the "System restart" option under either "Settings > System > Power" or under "Settings > System". If you don't have sufficient control to use the menus, or if it is just more convenient, you can also restart by pulling the power plug for a short while, then plugging it back in.
**On a Roku TV with "Fast TV Start" enabled, turning the TV off/on only puts you in/out of a low power standby state, it does NOT give you a complete restart. Use the methods above
The same thing happens to me.
The usual response is to remove, restart and update everything, which doesn't work.
Eventually someone at Roku admits that they need to fix something.
It works for about a week then starts again.
I wish there was an alternative...

I continue to have this same problem. I have tried all the usual fixes with no success. The problem continued Jan. 18, 2025 with playoff games . This is a new problem starting about 10 days ago for me.
NFL version 5.0 Build 76
TCL 55S21 Hardware C179X Software 14.1 Build 4.7709-93
The NFL addiction is so bad that I went and bought a Fire TV Stick and installed today on my Roku Tv with PERFECT SUCCESS.
Yes, it appears that as of now this is the only solution to this problem. I am hoping that by giving Roku engineering all my Build nos. that they can get this sorted out before I buy another TV which does not have Roku built in.
