Where do you see “Apps on Roku” at? I have looked in my Roku app and clicked devices, clicked on the device I want and I can only find “Recent Apps” but it does not let me delete or edit them.
You are right. The App has changed. Actually, I think it's an issue with the app. It's bringing up the remote when you select your device under Devices. It didn't used to do that. And since they have an "menu icon" for Remote, then not sure why selecting a device under Devices also brings up the remote. Looks like the app is broken now. Hopefully Roku will fix it!!
I opened a discussion hoping to find a solution for the Device option in the app. If you want to see my post, it's titled "Devices on Roku mobile app does not display "Apps on Roku" anymore" and is under the "Roku mobile app" category. I will try adding a link!

Could you please follow the troubleshooting steps mentioned by @RokuRiamie-D? It would also be great if you could add this app using the mobile app.

Here is the new solution. (Changes to the mobile app made the steps in the original solution not quite accurate).
If you cannot see an app on your home screen, but when you search to add it you only get "Open App", you need to remove it and re-add it this way:
Open the Roku mobile phone app. Select Search (icon at bottom of screen). Type in the name of the app that is missing on your home screen. (Example: YouTube). The app icon will come up. Select it and another screen comes up with two options: Launch and Remove. Select Remove. Then return to your TV, search for your app and now you should get “Add App” instead of “Open App”. Add the app, then go to your home screen and it should show now. This worked using the old steps, but now that's changed, I would assume this will work with the new steps too.
