Re: disppearing local channels possible workaround

Jump to solution

I have it on the Live tv tile as I have for the past 7 years.   Never a problem until now.   I have the Roku version of a TCL tv.

Re: [Underinvestigation] Live Channel Disappearing

Jump to solution

Hey everyone,

We're aware that some users are experiencing an issue where live channels may disappear.

Status Update: We're looking into it!

We recommend trying to use the following steps:

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote
  2. Use the directional pad to navigate to Settings
  3. Go to TV inputs > Live TV > Hide streaming TV channels
  4. Select Hide all

If you're still experiencing this issue, please try the following:

  • Device information: model, serial number, OS version build
  • screenshots of the screen
  • Generate a tracking ID and let us know the Issue ID and GC version displayed on their screen.
  • Where are you currently located?

We'll mark this thread as solved for now, but we're still working on a fix.

Best,

Same thing.  I've restarted... factory reset... rescanned....

I had to hide my streaming channels to see the OTA channels. Vice verse

Local channels not showing

Jump to solution

I was able to get local channels this morning and then all of a sudden at 11:00 AM central standard time I went to watch one of my shows on local TV and it was gone. What happened

Re: Local channels not showing

You are not the only one to have this problem. I have two tv's ( a tcl and a Hisense) that both lost local over the air channels. when I tried to rescan the saved channels are still there but the software will not recognize the channels. Was this a glitch in an update?
