This worked for me with my ROKU stick. I switched from Limited to Enabled and my LG IR remote started working again with my ROKU stick. Thanks for the feedback everyone...

Lots of us have tried that and it doesn’t work for us, this is why we gave the Roku rep our specific info

Thanks for the fix! I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out why I was having such bad delays trying to control my Roku Ultra using my Harmony Hub Remote - making it unusable. Went down rabbit hole of trying to fix Harmony (which hasn’t had an update in years).  Changed mobile devices to Permissive on my Roku Ultra and delay is gone. Phew!

I’m having the exact same issue with my Companion remote and recently purchased Roku Ultra 4k Stream stick.  Activity turns on and off and only volume buttons work

Harmony Remote Issues After Update? Try This!

Hey everyone,

We've noticed some folks are having trouble with their Harmony remotes after the update.

Here's a solution:

  1. Go to: Settings > System > Advanced System Settings
  2. Select: Control by mobile apps
  3. Change "Network Access" to "Enabled"

This should resolve the issue for most users.

Note: We'll mark this post as solved for visibility and as a reference for other users.

If this doesn't fix it, check the Community for similar issues. If you can't find a solution, create a new post and tell us more!

Inexcusable for Roku to do this.  No doubt there are countless frustrated Roku users out there.  I almost tossed my Roku and switched to Fire Stick.
