Paramount was working in dolby atmos like a week ago and my other apps still work in dolby atmos I checked for updates on roku and the app but everything is up to date
Like I mentioned before, we watched TG Maverick with Atmos on 1/11/25 and on 1/15/25 is when we noticed Atmos no longer worked. If it was a Roku issue, how so because there wasn’t a firmware update after 1/11. To me that points to Paramount as the culprit. Something changed on their end that they apparently have no intention to fix and putting the onus on Roku to somehow remedy.
I canceled my renewal with P+.
On Fire TV stick 4K max, second edition, I get surround sound, but not Atmos on TG Maverick.
I get Dolby Atmos on TG Maverick when using my Google TV platforms but I had to go in and manually select the Dolby Atmos sound format as described in another post on this thread.
It's strange because it always worked automatically with my Google TV platforms as well as with Roku.
I do think paramount plus did something that is causing people to have to manually select the sound format on Google TV platforms and not work at all on roku platforms.
A temporary fix would be for Roku to roll back to the version of ParamountPlus on the platform before the most recent change on 12132024. It’s possible that current version contains other revisions/additions that are deemed more important than audio; therefore, we wait.

Same problem. I have confirmed that the exact same programs are available with Atmos on my AppleTV 4K. Not seeing this with other streaming channels
