Why not? Using whatever combination of devices you choose is fine. The latest thing I read, said there are over 5000 channels on Roku, but if whatever gizmo you have has them, or you don't care about them, then that's fine. Streaming devices like Roku are so cheap, I don't see any need narrow it down to one. Also, some people like a certain OS for its UI and not having to change when changing or adding TVs.
