My first venture with Roku was the Roku 3, which uses the default Urban screensaver. That one will kick in as configured and run forever until I hit a key which quickly wakes it up, usually at the Home Screen.
My new Express 4K+ works quite differently. It’s default screensaver is an Aquarium, which is quite nice. It too kicks in after specified inactivity, but it does not keep running. After an hour or less it simply disappears and I’m left with a pale blue screen. Waking it back up takes maybe five seconds. I can’t find a configuration to eliminate this “timeout”, so is it just this screensaver that doesn’t continuously “loop”, and do they all behave differently? Thanks.
