Wireless speakers and soundbar connections

I have a Roku tv and have added the Roku wireless speakers. The speakers work great and I understand that the tv speakers will automatically be turned off by speakers. I have tried 2 different Roku soundbars with the wireless speakers and can not figure out how to connect it all to get sound from wireless speakers and soundbar. Still can only get sound from wireless speakers. What should the connections be to get everything to work together and is there maybe a tv setting that I don’t have right? We really want to have surround sound but getting very frustrated! Help please!
