TROUBLE WITH LEGS TIGHTENING

I just bought the select series 50 inch and as im screwing in the screw for the stand legs it seems to get hard making tight even though the legs are not all the way tight is this happening to anyone?

Screw is to long or screwed in crooked. Also make sure the leg is seated properly and in the right direction before attaching the screws.
