Re: Roku speakers an making cracking and popping sounds

Did you get an answer on this? I have the same setup and am having the same exact issue. It’s only a problem with the two back speakers. I’ve factory reset and everything suggested but nothing works.

Re: Roku speakers an making cracking and popping sounds

Hello,

Information requested is listed below. I have a few devices:

  • TCL TV Model 65R635 or A114X
    • Serial #X003002EAWGP
    • Device ID S05FY0CEAWGP
    • Software 12.5.5 build 4174-88
  • Streambar Pro Model 9101R2
    • Serial #YL005U316467
    • Device ID 3K61D5316467
    • Software 12.5.5.4174
  • Rear Left Speaker Model 9020X
    • Serial #YE002F075054
    • Device ID 026252075054
    • Software 12.5.5.4174
  • Rear Right Speaker Model 9020X
    • Serial #YE00DJ802487
    • Device ID 02625D802487
    • Software 12.5.5.4174
  • Front Left Speaker Model 9020X
    • Serial #YE00GV336311
    • Device ID 0263G336311
    • Software 12.5.5.4174

    • Serial #Y@00UG059848
    • Device ID R5427U059848
    • Software 12.5.5.4174

My issue is specifically with crackling and popping on the left and right rear channels. I have factory reset all of the devices and have even tried switching the front devices with the rear ones, but the same issue occurs no matter what device is connected in the rear channels.

Tracker Issue ID # GP-061-515. It happens whenever I'm playing any kind of media (Playstation, Netflix) and happens intermittently.

Re: Roku speakers an making cracking and popping sounds

Same exact thing is happening to me, I’ve had Roku speakers for all my devices and have recommended to all my family members and they too have bought them. Recently I bought a subwoofer and a sound bar pro and it all went downhill from there. My rear speakers are making a loud popping noise. I’m so disappointed because I have NEVER had an issue with Roku speakers in all the years I have purchased them. Thinking of selling and switching to a different brand.
