Roku Streambar Audio & Playback Issues

Roku Streambar is 2ish years old. In the past two months, it has started to show two major issues:

  • Certain apps do not load fully, namely Discovery+. Other apps load content slowly (Netflix & Amazon Prime). Other apps (Disney+, Hulu, etc.) load fine.
  • Audio will cut out, mainly on Discovery+. It goes from audible to a low murmur, and the only way to correct it so far has been to power-cycle the Streambar—either manually or through a restart via the Settings menu.

We have multiple Roku devices in the home and elsewhere. This particular Streambar is the only device experiencing these issues.

Software is up to date. HDMI cable is new as of a month ago and is a 2.0 cable. Router and ISP bandwidth have been upgraded in the two years we've had the device. Signal is stable and there are no network lapses when these issues occur.

Anyone having similar issues?
