Starting last Thursday, February 13 2025, OTA channels disappeared from the Live TV guide on my ROKU TV. (50” TCL Roku TV). I have restarted multiple time and the problem persists. I’m in Las Vegas Nevada,
I have a work around - I created an “Antenna TV” tile that shows OTA channels - but I want to get back to where I was on Wednesday with all channels showing on the guide under the Live TV tile. None of the solutions thy claim to correct the problem have worked for me yet
Hi @DesertDweller53,
Thank you for posting here in the Roku Community!
We understand you're having trouble with the OTA channels on your Roku TCL TV because some are missing. We're happy to assist you further.
You may be able to receive free “over-the-air” TV broadcasts from nearby TV stations, depending on where you live, using an HDTV antenna. The placement of your HDTV antenna can affect which TV stations you can receive and the quality of the signal. You can refer to the webpage Antenna Web for more information on accessing broadcast TV in your area.
Please try doing this and see if it helps with what you're experiencing.
Best,
The Roku Community Team
Perhaps I need to clarify. I have a 50” TCL Roku TV. Until February 13 2025 when I went to “Live TV” on the Home Screen I saw all my OTA channels (from my HD antenna) AND all of the streaming channels on the same screen. February 14 the OTA channels disappeared - when I scanned for channels it found 113 - but would not show them on the Live TV guide. I set up an “Antenna TV” Tile by telling the system to hide streaming channels. So now I have “Live TV” for streaming channels and “Antenna TV” for OTA channels. I’ve restarted, done. Factory reset, and tried every other correction suggested on Community Forums - I am not alone in my problem - for some significant number a restart corrected the issue - I am not one of them. I want a return to my system as it existed prior to whatever update or change Roku made last week. Is Roku aware of the continued problems for some users? Are they working on a patch to correct the problem. Tired of being told the problem has been corrected when in fact it has not
