I was able to use Airplay from my phone and my MacBook perfectly fine 2 weeks ago. I am trying to use them today and now the sound isn’t working from either device. Anyone had this issue or a potential solution? Thanks!

Before we proceed, may we know what content is being used for Airplay? Are you listening to iTunes, watching videos, etc.,? Also, have you tried rebooting your Roku player and then set up the Airplay again? If so, are you able to access it without any issues?

I have the same problem …
There is no sound when playing iTunes from my iPhone or my iPad when using AirPlay with my Roku stick.
Note: when using AirPlay for videos, both the picture and sound work fine.
Also note: the iPhone and iPad audio with iTunes works perfectly fine on other non-Roku devices.
Please advise solution.

My system comprises TV, speakers with sub, amp, DVD player, and Roku stick.
Software version: 12.5.5
Build: 4174
Volume and mute settings checked ✅
There are no error codes.
System restarted, software is latest version.
Still no sound when playing iTunes on AirPlay via Roku stick.
Streaming YouTube (and others) works great … it is only iTunes and Roku stick combination that has no sound.
Please note, my iPhone and iPad with iTunes work perfectly with a different streaming device (Amazon Fire stick)
