Hisense Roku TV does not respond to power button on remote, must unplug and plug back in every time.

This problem just recently started on my 3 yr old TV, never till now had a problem. Like the title says, whenever I want to turn on the Roku TV I must unplug and plug back in the power cord.  TV and remote are dead until I do this. TV and remote then work fine till turned off then once again I have to unplug and plug it back in for the TV to power up.

I would suggest contacting Hisense for technical support.  It sounds like the board that controls the standby for the TV has gone bad.  Usually, it is some type of capacitor that has gone bad on the inside, but you should reach out to Hisense.
