I have a Hisense roku tv model number 70R6E4 and I have a Megatek DVD player model number DP-260m55hd. I unplugged both from power hooked the HDMI cable to the HDMI output plug on DVD and the HDMI2 slot on my TV. I then plugged in the power and turned on the DVD player followed by my Rokutv I then went to settings and inputs and selected HDMI2 that was not in use and set it up for my DVD player I then put in a DVD and navigated back to home screen and helped DVD player input and even though the DVD player is on and disk is running tv says no signal.

Ok got it working allow me to provide the steps I took to get it working. Please note I will give the steps in the order I did them but honestly the second step is what I believe fixed it.
I unplugged and disconnected everything HDMI cable and all power cables including TV and DVD. I then plugged the TV back in and DVD and HDMI cable into the TV HDMI 1 slot. Step two I navigated to the settings and TV inputs and added under HDMI 1 DVD player. I then noticed above that was a selection for TV display input I selected it and scrolled down a little and added in the DVD display setting and after doing this my DVD player worked.
