I am looking for a bright cheap TV to be used in a sunny room with a cable box as the input. RTINGS tested the 65" version, and in SDR mode it is ~400 cd/m2 (peak) which would make it brigher than the competition (~300 (?) cd/m2).
**Question for someone who has the 40" version (**40R2A5R): is it really a 'bright' TV?
I also only plan to use it simply as a display to connect to a cable box (eARC input), in an off-line (no internet) mode. Will this cause any issues?
