We're sorry about the issue. It sounds like you weren't speaking with a Roku representative.
Roku will never charge you an activation or support fee, and we won't ask for sensitive details like payment information over the phone or ask for remote access to your computer.
In this case, I'd recommend reaching out to our support team directly here for your 'Account or billing' issue, here: https://support.roku.com/contactus. They will be able to further assist you.

It has more to do w/ my payment. I don't want Disney to cancel my acct just because I have to wait to get a new card sent to me.

What a scam

I cannot believe what a scam Roku is.  I bought a Roku TV and bought 3 more Rokus. Only for them all to stop working at once and have no recourse to fix the situation other than  "badge-based" Community answers (whatever that means???) I have now been waiting for a Roku employee to write me back.  But after everything I read on these posts it just sends you in circles.  Nothing ever really gets resolved.  But you got some BADGES???!!! I am throwing away all my Roku devices and will never buy again and will certainly let everyone else know not to buy these products.  This forum would work if you had a live chat to talk to a technical support employees. But you have to have employees to do that.  The frustration this has caused is totally not worth it.  I will find another streaming device.

Customer support is a scam I think. For phone support you are connected to India or Pakistan on a **bleep** line full of hiss and echo. Plus who can understand the so called agents????????? Then the chat people say they cant handle it so when I ask for a R/A to get a refund and send the garbage back they disconnect. Be going back to my Amazon box because it works and if you have an issue someone will actually talk to you. I used  to think Roku was good..........now I know I was wrong. Like flushing money down the toilet for this unit and its a pity because my original Ultra works quite well but the new one doesnt even rank as junk in my eyes.

That is where i started. And again I am no further along in this process.  No answers. I am beyond frustrated.  My Roku TV just turns off and goes into eco mode for no reason and then the next day all my Rokus on all my other tvs goes out?????? And no one to talk to........l.

cant cost more than 5 bucks to manufacture the box. Five bucks a year for customer support..........lots of profit
