Well, let's kick up the streaming vs. traditional (cable) paid television one further.

One Of the biggest reasons I still have not cut the cord is because of the last button on Verizon's remote, the cable boxes remember the last 15 TV stations you watched. 2nd biggest reason is that Verizon has wifi cable boxes now, but you have to at least one cable box wired in order to have a wireless cable box. The 3rd biggest reason is that Verizon has 4k cable boxes now and while the amount of events is limited I still get to watch 4k sports on occasions.

Since, most ISP'S want you to have their wireless service  too and most wireless companies offer perks  with the plans. I get the Disney Bundle for free as long as I don't change my plan. I watch a lot of different things on ESPN+ almost everyday on my 3 roku tvs.

Another reason to not cut the cord that I forgot to mention are Regional Sports Networks. The only streaming service that has RSN in my area is DirectTV stream.

Remember, it all boils down to one very basic thing: Choices.  

Whether you are a individual, member of a small group living together, or a huge population, this is the key to a more happier Streaming experience-or not.

Well ‌❤️‌‍🩹 my heart is truly broken (ha!).  Cable is losing the final control over it's primary means of income-even a reason to even exist-basic content emassing.  Then no content=blackouts, temporary  or otherwise. Without content control and/or monopoly (however one looks at it), it is safe to say that people are stepping backwards and going back to old fashioned ways of television viewing.  Their way or the highway.

Still, Do remember to choose the way you stream/broadcast more wisely.
