Thanks for the post.

It appears that Fox News on Roku requires a TV provider login to fully access the channel. Moreover, please note that channels on our platform are managed by the channel developer themselves. We suggest reaching out to Fox News support to report the issue and for better insight on how their channel works on Roku.

I tried submitting information to the "channel developer" using the link you provided.  The autoreply I got after submitting the webform was that they do not answer every request but thank me for the submission.  So, it's basically a suggestions box with zero follow-up.  This is not helpful, so if you don't have an actual contact for the developer than I suggest you stop posting a link to a generic feedback form.  

There are now two things this sign-in issue has brought to light. One is that neither Fox News nor Roku support this app.  Two, the app seems to function correctly on Apple TV.  I know what my next streaming device will be.

Same here. I have stopped using it. CNN works better.

Different devices use different operating systems. And the apps are built in different languages. You can't take an Android TV app and have it just work on a Roku. You have to build it from the ground up.

The apps are not the same.

I stopped using Roku because of this. AppleTV works fine with Fox News.

I only use Fox Nation and Hulu to watch Fox News on Roku now.

And I reached out to Fox News app support and never got a response. Big surprise.

This is the last Roku I'll every buy.  Let this be a lesson to anyone considering buying a Roku.  buyer beware: roku apps are unsupported.
