Youtube keeps going to black screen after ads. Max keeps crashing

Like the title says 

Youtube keeps going black screen after every ad. Even after TV restart. 

Max keeps crashing. What the heck is going on guys? 

 

Can y'all get these companies to update their **bleep** apps?

Something to try is changing the "refresh rate" setting.

How to change the display refresh rate to match the native format of each movie, video or TV show | ...
