I'm having trouble getting YouTube to work this morning. It has always worked fine before, but came up with a message saying that it could not open because there were too many channels on my device. I tried it a few times just to be sure it wasn't an error. At the time I had not added any new channels for more than a month. Since I have seen this message, I have deleted several channels we no longer use. In addition, I have restarted my device, uninstalled YouTube restarted my device and reinstalled YouTube, checked for updates although none were available, and searched through any screensavers that might be deleted as I had run across that suggestion in one other similar problem posted on the forum. None of these things have fixed the problem.
As far as the info I've read that you need my model number is 3930RW - Roku Express, the serial number is X00400UTC81S (S009205TC81S), the software version is 10.0.0, the build is 4209-AE, the time stamp says 2021-09-14T14:31:20Z, and the issue ID is 1S-369-511
The only step to duplicate the problem is to select YouTube and click OK.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for the posts and your patience while we worked to resolve this issue. We have identified the cause and this issue has now been fixed.
For clarification, if you are experiencing an issue with Youtube (or other channels) that state the channel could not run because it could not be reinstalled from the network, please apply the latest fix by following the instructions below to manually check for a software update.
If you are experiencing another issue, not related to what has been described above, we would recommend creating a new post stating what the issue is in detail.
We will be closing this thread out.
Thanks,
Danny
Known solutions/workarounds for YT not loading/closing to Home:
1) Check for updates: Settings/System/System update/Check now - try again
2) Restart Roku: Settings/System/System restart/Restart - try again
3) Change your Theme to the Roku Default: Settings/Theme/Restore default theme - try again
4) Change your Screensaver to a Roku clock: Settings/Theme/Screensavers - try again
5) Remove SD card (if installed) - try again
6) Remove app, RESTART ROKU: Settings/System/System restart/Restart, Add app - try again
7) Network connection reset: Settings/System/Advanced system settings/Network connection reset - try again
😎 Completely unplug power from Roku for 10-15 minutes - try again
9) Factory reset: Settings/System/Advanced system settings/Factory reset <--- last resort
NOTE for #6: Do not remove the YouTube TV app - you will not get the app back until the end of the dispute
Hi. I have the same issue with YouTube and Spotify. It was also doing it with Pluto Tv but after a factory reset it started working. Still YouTube and Spotify have the same issue. I have tried every single thing on this list (except for SD card mine does not have one). So does anybody have any solutions

NONE of these helped me.
I unpluged my se roku for 4 seconds or so, came back on and when i clicked on youtube, it started to load youtube up, now it works, but who knows for how long, problem just started today.
Tried update first didn't work.
I've hadTHE SAME PROBLEM for 2 days now,I've done everything you have and have the same issue..we have 4 rokus that are all the same and its only happening on 2 of them.super frustrating nothing is working.
Why are you guys not fixing the issue with youtube. We bought rokus only to use YouTube.
I had the same issue with You Tube TV, so I uninstalled it and now cannot reinstall You Tube TV (it does not even show up in a search). What now? I bought the Roku sticks in order to watch You Tube TV>
I have been having the same issues as described above. I also got message to delete channels.
It's all the same, and I have tried all the "fixes" as stated above. NOTHING WORKS!!!!!!!!!
Awful STRANGE same thing is happening to so many of us at the same time. ROKU needs to fix ASAP!!!!
