Why is YouTube constantly added to my homescreen?

Jump to solution

Why is YouTube being added to my home screen almost on a daily basis. I have deleted it from the only two devices on my account so it's not on any other device. I have enabled the feature that requires a pin to add an app. I don't want my son watching YouTube but he constantly has it on because it's mysteriously being added. I know it's not him adding it when I'm not looking but instead being added by Roku. I just want that trash eliminated from his life.

@ThePeter

Thank you for contacting us about channels reappearing on your Roku Device. We’re here to help!

When you add an app to one Roku device, it will appear on all devices linked to your account.

To check which devices are connected, please go to my.roku.com and log in. Scroll down to the section called "My Linked Devices," where you’ll find a list of all your Roku devices linked to your account. Any app or channel you add to one of those devices will automatically show up on all of them.

Hope this helps!
