Re: Watching Roku on an iPad or an iPhone

Hi, @Coco02 @zamankhanhr.

Greetings from the Roku Community.

We appreciate you reaching out for support and for wanting to stream The Roku Channel via the Roku mobile app. We'd be happy to share more information regarding this matter.

Streaming via the Roku mobile app installed on your mobile devices is no longer available. No worries! We'll let the team know about this, as we value your feedback.

Feel free to reach out if there's anything else you'd like us to address and we'd be happy to listen and take appropriate action. We hope you continue to have a Happy Streaming! 💜

Best regards,
Carly

Re: Watching Roku on an iPad or an iPhone

@MzSixteez you can install the Roku app on an iPad. I have it on my older model. The app does allow streaming some content. What it does NOT do is provide access to the apps one might have installed on their Roku devices in their home. It does have a remote function that allows you to control a Roku device on your network, but you cannot see anything on the iPad screen that the Roku device is streaming.

Re: Watching Roku on an iPad or an iPhone

I am traveling and just subscribed to Roku Starz to watch while traveling. Now that I’m on vacation I can’t use on iPad. I only had it for a week before I travelled. I wouldn’t have subscribed if I knew I couldn’t watch it on iPad

Some apps have regional restrictions and/or content restrictions depending on where you are traveling.

Hi, @Stagislandjan

Thanks for posting, and welcome to the Roku Community.

We appreciate the help, @JWS9518. As advised by the Roku community user, most applications on Roku have regional availability, which restricts access to their content when you are outside the US using a Roku device.

We hope you find this information helpful, and let us know if you have further concerns or inquries.

Thanks,
Kash
