Is there a way to view and organize my channels when logged into the Roku web site?
Welcome to the Roku Community, @RedSeven!
Thanks for reaching out. We'd be happy to be of assistance here and provide you with additional information.
If you want to stream Roku through the website, you need to visit The Roku Channel's website. You can manage your "Continue Watching" list there. See the photo below for reference:
Feel free to respond if you need further clarification and assistance.
Warm regards,
Carly
Thanks for replying and I didn't ask my question clearly. I wasn't asking about watching the channels online, what I was trying to ask is how can I list all the channels I'm currently subscribed to on the web site when logged in.
Across the top you have categories of subjects to search for apps including "Popular Subscriptions".
What I would like is a "My Subscriptions" where it shows only my active subscriptions.
Also, it would nice if I come to this forum I could access all my posts via a link rather than having to search for my name to find them.
Thx.
@RedSeven there is no method to adjust the layout of channels/apps on a device through a web site. There is also no way to organize a app layout on one device and apply it to other Roku devices. The Roku user web site will list all subscriptions you have through Roku (meaning you pay Roku for access to certain services), but if it's simply an app you have installed that doesn't require a subscription it will not be listed on your user web page.
@RedSeven, you can see all your posts by clicking on your username or your avatar in the upper right corner of the page which will take you to your profile. You can also see all of the subscriptions you have through Roku by logging into https://my.roku.com using the email address that's displayed on your Roku device under Settings->System->About. I don't think Roku has any way of knowing what subscriptions you've taken out directly with a provider.
Sorry, I misunderstood what "subscription" meant, I thought it meant any app including free ones like Youtube, Rumble, my local news station, etc. I am asking about free apps only. I guess I should refer to the free ones as "channels"?
Also, I wasn't asking about organizing the layout on the web site or applying it to other devices.
To clarify my question and add to it. So, my free channels will not be listed when logged into the web site using Firefox on my Windows PC? Can you add that feature?
2nd question: I used to be able to search on this website in Firefox on my PC for channels (like Youtube, Rumble, news stations, etc and then add them if I was interested. Then, when I opened Roku on my TV the channel was right there. Now, I can't find any way to browse all the channels on the web site. What happened to that? The search function from the menu doesn't even bring up the Youtube channel just some related channels, for example. Your "Browse by category" only has movies, tv shows and actors and directors.
That is very restricted and inadequate. Can you please provide a search that can cover your entire database please?
I find it much more convenient to search on the computer than on the TV because searching on tv is so cumbersome and slow and also a strain on my neck and back.
Please help on this.
Thanks.
Roku refers to all apps as "channels", regardless if they are free to install, free to use, or require a subscription of some kind. It's confusing, but that's what it is.
You can install any app/channel from the Roku web site at https://channelstore.roku.com. But there's no way to view those channel on a web page. You cannot add anything to The Roku Channel (which is available on a web page). Channels added from the Roku web page will only be accessible on a Roku device linked to the same user account that was used to install the channels.
The Roku channel store web page listed above does offer a browsing function. It's a header at the top of the page that allows you to browse different categories, and of course it does have a search function.
