Upgrade 10.5 ad is stuck on my screen. Cannot access any channels!

Cannot get into regular screen. **bleep**ing “Introducing Roku OS 10.5” is all I can get. You **bleep**ers. I’m paying for Netflix, Amazon, etc and cannot access. Fix the **bleep** problem

Some users with this problem have reported that pulling the power cords for Roku and TV for 30 minutes gets them to the normal Roku home screen and restores remote responsiveness.  I don't know if you really need to pull the plug on the tv or if you really need to wait 30 minutes before plugging back in (seems excessive to me) but that's what I've seen reported.
