Bought a new 4th generation 4 tuner Tablo to replace my working legacy 2 tuner Tablo and practically nothing works consistently with any of my Roku devices.
Old legacy Tablo worked perfectly, but new one doesn't seem to like Roku. Updated both Tablo and Roku firmware, but still have one glitch after another. Just who's side of the fence do these problems belong to, Tablo or Roku?
Check over here on the Tablo forum regarding some current known issues and how they are addressing it. See if these are the same issues you are currently having.

Thanks for the link, but my surround sound setting was already turned off, so that isn't the problem. The problems I and others are having are inconsistent, everything from problems with the App, buffering, connectivity, erratic recording and playback and the list goes on. These all occur on my Roku Ultras and Roku sticks while the legacy Tablo continues to work perfectly with them.
We have a number of Tablo users here so someone should stop by with some suggestions for you.
You may likely have more detailed info though in the Tablo forums. Tablo creates/maintains the app and then may consult with Roku when they have an issue. Probably have a better idea what is going on.
@AvsGunnarI have also posted on the Tablo boards, but the problems are so inconsistent it is hard to tell what is going on. However, it does seems to be more of a Tablo problem and not a Roku one as other streaming devices as well as the legacy Tablo units do not appear to share the same problems.
I am just trying to find a way to get an update for when the problems are resolved or going to be without having to keep changing my setup to test myself only to find nothing has changed.
