I am not exactly sure how this Channel/app works ("The Broadway Channel"), because as you indicated, it is having issues launching. It is not your device, there is an issue. (Tested on a RokuTV and Ultra 4660).
Best place to start is by contacting the Channel developer at https://www.broadway.com/ and let them know an issue exists with launching their Roku Channel/app. (https://www.broadway.com/contact-us/)

Did notice some other similar looking Channels/apps like "BroadwayHD" and "Broadway on Demand" that may appeal to you. Both have Channels/apps in Roku Channel Store.
