Spotify play button for podcasts no longer works.

The Spotify play button for podcasts no longer works. However, the play button still works for music.  I tried logging out of the app and then uninstalling it.  I then reinstalled the app and logged back in.  This did not fix the issue.

Spotify is the developer so you will need to contact them

There is a step missing in this process. You did steps 1 and 3, but omitted step 2:

  1. Remove the app
  2. Reboot the Roku
  3. Reinstall the app

Now, whether this will make a difference, I don't know. But your intent was valid, but that one critical step was missed. Try it that way and see if it helps.
