SiriusXM app won't open on Express4K

Just downloaded SiriusXM app on 4k Express and it will not open (4/7/24). Just spinning. Any suggestions besides factory reset?

We understand that you are unable to stream the SiriusXM channel. We appreciate the troubleshooting steps you've taken so far. We're pleased to assist.

  • Does the issue occur on only this channel, multiple channels, or all channels?

Troubleshooting:

1. Check the status of the connection to your Roku device (Settings > Network > About) The Status will either say “Connected”, or the Roku device may not be connected to the internet. If your device is not connected, Set up a connection (Settings > Network > Set up connection) If the Roku device is connected, select “Check connection” (Settings > Network > Check connection) 

2. Restart your Roku device and your router. To restart your Roku player, go to Settings > System > System restart, or to restart your Roku TV, go to Settings > System > Power > System restart. You can also unplug your Roku device from the power source and plug it back in. To restart your router, check the instructions from your ISP or router manufacturer. In some cases, you can simply unplug it and plug it back in.

If the issue persists, we recommend performing the below steps and see if you can resolve the issue:

1. Remove the channel: Highlight the channel tile on your home screen and press Star to open the Options menu. Select Remove channel and confirm.

2. Restart your Roku device (Settings > System > System Restart)

3. Re-add the channel back to the Roku device

Hello Arjiemar,

Yes, only SiriusXM app was not opening and working. I was able to get it to open and signed in and listening with your help by system restart.
