Help & troubleshooting for channels on your Roku device, including adding/removing channels, logging in to, authenticating, or activating a channel, channel-specific playback issues, assistance contacting channel publishers to report issues, and adjusting channel-specific settings.
Is it necessary that a show called "Sex next Door" pop up on the opening screen? What about families that use your products?!? I see no option or way to keep shows like this from coming up. This is ridiculous! If you are going to have kids shows on your app there needs to be a kid friendly option for families to use without subjectiong ourselves to that filth. I don't want to see it on my page either. Please fix this. When searching the posts on this "online community" I see all kinds of requests that you, Roku, should do something about this.
Suggestion for Roku coders, freely given to @RokuDanny-R or others on the staff:
You already have coding to honor parental control over rated programs on the Roku Channel.
Require those who place ads on the Roku home page to include a rating for their ad, and apply the same parental control to the ad selection.
All that would be required on the parents' part would be set their parental controls on their Roku account.

Agreed! This is such a disrespectful and distasteful situation. We will be switching to a different TV streaming service because this is not the first time we have felt like there was an inappropriate advertised show on our Home Screen or home control screen.
how on God's flat earth is this even possible (rhetorical)? this taboo subject was supposed to be banned from all public and private discourse and communication long ago. we cannot allow the free and open, unashamed use of this dirty, dirty three-letter word. we must not stand for it! every time it is said, typed, or even thought, countless souls of long-deceased ancestors are unceremoniously dunked into the lake of fire below us. please find a way to remove all references and uses of that nasty, natural word from all programming and advertisements, for the good of your customer and all mankind, now and in the eternal future. in the name of our savor, a man.
I Totally agree! My (autistic) 8 year old was watching a kid show and I heard her yelling and as I walked in the room, she was visibly upset and covering her eyes. There was a LifeTime commercial with a half naked couple groping one another and quickly changed to a scene with a person wielding a knife. In the few moments I observed, it looked like a sexual/horror movie! I ran to grab the remote and shut it off but the damage was done. This is unacceptable! When you put a kid show on, there should be commercials with the same rating used. This seems intentional.
