Roku comes back with channel changes

I go from Roku, HDMI 2 to tv, HDMI 2 and a station comes on.  All is good.  I change stations and the tv goes toHDMI 2 and Roku.  How do I keep it on tv and change channels?  I do not want to unplug and replug the Roku.

Sounds like the remote for your TV is using the same IR codes the Roku uses. This happens with a Vizio TV I have. The problem is, if you block the IR receiver window on the Roku so the TV remote doesn't affect it, then the Roku remote won't work either. Perhaps some placement changes between the Roku and the TV might permit one not affecting the other.
