Roku has no way of knowing you get a subscription through Verizon.  Some apps require you to authenticate through your cable provider and others require you to log in with a username and password.  The MGM+ app seems to be one of the latter.  If you have a username and password that you can use on the MGM+ website, you should be able to use the same credentials in the Roku app.  If you don't, you should ask Verizon why you don't.

Garbage answer. Once you login to the MGM app on Roku, there is no option to connect provider. Can anyone actually answer the question that was asked??

Download the MGM Plus app, not the MGM Plus for Roku.  It is two different apps on the Roku platform.  The MGM Plus app will allow you to connect your current account via QR code on the web

I'm looking in the channel store and don't see an app, just the MGM channel. That's on the website though, I'll try to find just the app on the Roku itself. Thanks.

@rwebber, Roku has in the past used the term "channel" when anyone else in their right mind would say "app".  They're trying to move away from that term since we now have channels (like "live" TV channels) within apps, but they're stuck with https://channelstore.roku.com.  Search for "MGM" within "Streaming Store" (used to be called "Channel store" by the way) on your device and go to the apps section of the results.  If you have a subscription directly with MGM+, don't attempt to use the one that has "on RokuChannel" on the icon.

I've tried everything I see on both the app and the channel on my Roku device. Neither one lets me log in with provider. How are you all seeing that option? I have Spectrum, not that it makes a difference, I don't see an option for provider at all.

Hi, @rwebber

Thanks for posting here in the Roku Community.

You can log in with your provider on MGM+ here: MGM+ Login with provider

Additionally, ensure that you download the stand-alone MGM+ app on your Roku device. You can refer to this link: MGM+ App on Roku

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Yes, that is what I have installed on Roku. Logging in on a website doesn't translate to the Roku. I need the log in there.

@rwebber if you have the correct app, you log into MGM+ using the same user name/password as you do for the web site. So yes, logging into the web site does translate to the Roku. I don't use that app or have it installed on my devices, so I can't say exactly where you log into it.
