Roku advertising is obnoxious!

Why do we see Roku advertising at the bottom of our TV screen? It goes on for minutes. It seems. I press the back button, but it does nothing. I have to scroll around all the channels to get them to disappear finally.

Is this on a Roku TV while viewing live over the air channels?
