While watching a channel, the roku homescreen with all the channel icons showing in enlarged and pixelated fashion, briefly flashes in for anywhere from 2 seconds to 5 seconds. It does not interrupt the audio, but the video. The channel continues to play after the flashback. Before flashback
These things are just special purpose computers, and just like their big brothers, sometimes operational problems cans be solved by a system restart, so that's the first thing I'd try..
From the Roku home screen use menu path Settings > System > System restart. (On a Roku TV the menu path is Settings > System > Power > System restart.)
