Roku 4 ESPN App not work.

I have a Roku 4 and now my ESPN app won’t work. It says I have to upgrade my device to now enjoy this channel. Not having any other issues with older devices. Is there a fix for this or am I going to have to buy another device to access ESPN?  Not having this  issue with any other older Roku devices.

There's no fix.  Disney/Hulu/ESPN and whatever else falls under that umbrella has decided to not support the Roku 4 anymore now that Roku has announced it will no longer support it.  Check on your Home Screen under "My offers" or the website for a deal on a new Roku.

As noted, Roku has dropped support for the Roku 4. It was a unique player with a unique chipset not shared with any older or newer Roku. With Roku dropping support, Disney has decided to drop support. I had heard about Disney+ and Hulu, but this is the first I have heard about ESPN. It should also be mentioned that Apple NEVER supported the Roku 4.

My recommendation for a direct replacement is the Express 4K+ if you do not require wired Ethernet. It's faster, has more internal channel memory (no need for SD card), and is fully supported.
