Roku 3 - NBA App issue need help

I have a ROKU 3 and the NBA app which I have used for a year has developed an issue.

When I launch on the 'Games' tab it starts to load the games list and then dumps out of the app.

If before the dump I go to setting or NBA TV etc it is OK but 'Games' causes it to dump out to ROKU home screen.

Anyone seen this?

Thanks for letting us know about the issue that you are experiencing.

Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more. Does this clear up the issue you are seeing?

NBA playback not streaming good quality after system update.

Hi. I have been streaming NBA games for some time on my Express 4k and quality has been excellent.  However since an automatic upgrade of Roku system on 27th October it is really poor. Internet is running well and all other channels on my express are perfect. NBA streams perfect on a co-located Kindle Fire. Anyone seen this issue?

Thanks for the follow up.

If the issue remains unresolved, I'd recommend reaching out to the channel provider directly to report the issue and request additional support. Many channels on the Roku platform are developed and maintained by the channel provider directly, and they'll be able to best assist. If other channels are working correctly, and you only experience this issue on the NBA channel (app), that is likely an indication that the issue lies within that particular channel. In these cases, the channel provider will need to investigate the issue in order to help resolve it.
