Renaming antenna channels after scan

Jump to solution

Is there a way the channels can be renamed after a scan?  For example, if the name provided for a channel after a scan is:

36.1    KXAN-HD

and I want to rename it to NBC

Is there a way to do it?

Hi, @Macassaurus

Sending you our sincerest welcomes here in the Roku Community.

We appreciate your interest in seeking support and we are happy to assist you. In response to your query, we would like to inform you that there is a restriction when it comes to renaming a channel after a scan. Unfortunately, there is no option available to rename a channel once it has been scanned. All channels that are scanned over the air are automatically labeled and named as per their original name.

We understand that this may not be the answer you were hoping for, but we hope it clarifies the situation. If you need further assistance or have any other questions, please do not hesitate to let us know. We are always here to help you and will do our best to resolve your concerns.

Best wishes,
Kash
