Problem with updating britbox app on roku stick

tuned into britbox today and the home page tells me to update the app. Have tried to do it manually through the system and nothing is happening. Still says it needs updating. Can anyone help

@Wendy1, if you highlight Britbox on the Home Screen and press * on your remote you should also see the option to check for an update.  If it doesn't update, try the "Remove channel" option, restart your stick from Settings->System->System restart (or it may be under Settings->System->Power), and add the channel again.  Don't skip the restart step between removing it and adding it again.  The remove option won't show if you've subscribed through Roku.

@Wendy1-

I don't have Britbox but I have never seen a channel app that told me I need to update it.

Might that be a notice from your tv instead?

thanks for your reply, but it is not my tv, as britbox is working fine on the app on my tv. It’s definitly telling me to update the tv app on my roku stick. It still plays on roku but it has no knowledge of me. So no continued watching, no recommends and no watch list. But it’s not my account as everything is ok on the app through my tv and my iPad so its not my account

thanks, but that hasn’t worked. I noticed there was an update to the system on the 17th. Could this be something to do with it. I have no problem with any of the other channels on my stick, just this one. Am able to watch on the app on my smart tv, but most of my watching is done on my roku stick, and I appear to be the only one with this problem
