Paramount+ Flashing Black Screen

Jump to solution

I too, am having this same issue. While in the Paramount+ app, every time you move over the next program to be browsed,  the screen goes black for 3 seconds.  No other app seems to have this issue.   I have tried clearing the "continue watching" programs from the main Roku menu. I have also uninstalled the Paramount + app, and restarted the Roku stick, before reinstalling the app. Twice now.  Is there any other known fix for this issue? The issue makes the app essentially unusable.

Re: Paramount+ Flashing Black Screen Fix

Hi @M_Miller,

Welcome to the Roku Community!

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused with the Paramount Plus channel. After attempting the troubleshooting steps and videos from other channels play fine, contact the channel provider's customer support team to report the issue and get help.

Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel providers themselves. Since the error only occurs on the Paramount Plus channel, that's an indication that there's likely an issue within that specific channel that needs to be addressed with an update from them.

We do indeed recommend contacting Paramount Plus Support.

Thank you for your understanding.

All the best,
Chel
